BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CGUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE IiOCK,
ARKAN SA S
SECTION 1. Section ;'AZ1, "Brickhouse & Castle Digest", the
Ordinance of the City of Little Rock, said section being a part of
Ordinance k2661 approved, February 23, 1920, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. The City Collector with the a proval of the Iiayor
is nereby autherized to expend out of the _e.:ieral revenue fund of the
City, Ten Thousand Dollars (410,000.00), or so much thereof as is
necessary each month for the -Dayment of the weekly payroll, freight and
express charges, special police expenses, stamps, C.O.D. items, and any
charges to the City Hospital, not to exceea the sum of Fifty Dollars ( *50.00)
in any one month,' 4ny charges for the Municipal Golf Course, not to
exceed the sum of Fifteen - ollars ($15.00) per month, and any charges
for the City Attorney's office, such as the regularly authorized office
expense account ana Court cost.
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, this ordinance will effect a saving
for the General Fund ana since the General Pund of the City is depleted,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is found to
be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health
anc� safety, and same shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage aria approval.
