AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $350.00 TO COMPENSATE.MRS.
BE SSIE MAY THOMP SON FOR CERTAIN DAMAGES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the Road ate:
Auto Fund a sum of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00), and the Mayor
and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to issue the City
warrant in said amount to Mrs. Bessie May Thompson, Sol Thalheimer, Jr.,
and Robert L. Rogers II, upon &IL-execution of a receipt and release in
lull by the said Mrs. Bessie May Thompson, for any and all damages
which she has sustained by reason of the construction of a drainage
ditch across lots 1,2, and 3 of Block 1, Chickasaw Place, Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Said warrant in the sum of Three
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) be delivered upon the execution of the
rsi -verse and affidavit of Mrs. Bessie May Thompsonr that she is the sole
owner and the holder of the title to this said property.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, said amount is a compromise, which can be
obtained by immediate payment , and an emergency is declared to exist
and this ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health and safety, and same shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
