AN ORDINANCE kiENDING ORDINANCE NO- 5545, PASSED JANUARY
31, 1938, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE FIXING A ONE HOUR PARKING LILIIIT
ON 'NEST CAPITOL AVENUE BETWEEN GAINES AND STATE STREETS: PROVIDING
A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 5545, passed
January 31, 1938 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 1.
From and after the passage and approval of this ordinance it sh -3ll
be unlawful to park more than one hour on the South side of West
Capitol Avenue between Gaines and State Streets; and any person,
firm, or corporation found guilty of violating the provisions here-
by shall be deemed guilty of misdemeanor and upon conviction in
the Little Rock Municipal Court, fined in any sum not less than One
Dollar ($1.00), nor more than Five Dollars ($5.00).
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
