AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF X364.44 FROM
THE AUTOMOBILE FUND OF THE CITY FOR THE PURCHASE
OF AUTOMOBILE LICENSE STICKERS FOR THE YEAR 1938-
1939; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
Automobile fund of the City the sum of Three Hundred Sixty -four
and 44/100 Dollars ($364.44) to pay for the purchase of City
Automobile license stickers for the yearl 1938 - 1939, and the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to issue
the City's warrant in said amount to the Meyercord Company, which
contract was awarded said company by the Board of Public Affairs
on its low bid.
ECTION 2. WHEREAS., the automobile stickers must
randy in a short while, and work must be started,i
thereon, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health and safety, and same shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval..
