5568ORDINANCE # 5569 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A COIffISSION C'P FIVE MEMBERS TO BE KNOWN AS THE LITTLL ROCK ZOO COM- MISSION, APPOINTING SAID MEMBERS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HE1iEWITH; AND FOR OTHER PURYOa.ES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS SECTION 1. That from and after the passage and approval of this Ordinance all of the funds and properties acquired by the Little Rock Zoo and the Zoological Commission shall be administered and held by a commission to be known as the Little Rock Zoo Commission and said Commission shall be composed of Five (5) members as follows to -wit: Mr. N. T. Sittlington, who shall serve for a term of Five (5) years. Mr. Henry G. Leiser, who shall serve for a term of Four (4) years.._. -_.... Mr. E G. B'ylander, who shall serve for a term of Three (3) years. Mr. Dave Garrett, who shall serve for a term of Two (S) years. The Chairman of the Park Committee of the City Council shall be an Ex officio member of said commission and shall have the same power and duty as the other members of the commission. E,CTION 2. i7hen the terms of the Commissioners of the above here named expire, the Commission subject to the approval of the City Council shall name the successors for a '.. loft,. of Five (5) years, and thereafter the terms of each except the Chairman of the Park Committee of the City Council gall be for Five (5) years.. SECTION 3. The said commission shall have full and c= omplete control of all the property and funds, now or hereafter acquired by the Little Rock 'Loo, and the said commission by a majority vote ahall have full power to manage, operate, dispose of and acquire property and funds for the benefit of the Zoo in any manner the Commission deems proper. 0 SECTION 4.
