ORDINANCE # 5522
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF 4800.00 OR SO
MUCH THEREOF AS:MAY BE NECESSARY TO PURCHASE ONE
AUTOMOBILE FOR THE CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE;
APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $800.00 FROM THE ROAD FUND
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum
of-E ght Hundred Dollars ($800.00) or so much thereof as- may be
necessary from the Road Fund of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
to purchase an automobile for the City Engineer's office of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and upon notification from the
Board of Public Affairs that said automobile has been purchased,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue the City'
warrant in such sum as is certified to by the Board of Public
Affairs to purchase said automobile.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, the ;�traat u
immediate need of an automobile because of additional duties
delegated to such department, an emergency,is hereby declared to
exist, and this Ordinance is found to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety,
and the same shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
