5588ORDINANCE NO. 5588•
An Ordinance regulating certain businesses, trades,
and occupations, prescribing and fixing the license therefor,
and for other purposes.
BE IT ORDAIiyED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
Section 1. That hereafter it shall be unlawful
for any person,, firm, and /or corporation engaged in the
following business without occupying an established place
of business, to sell or peddle from any automobile, truck,
wagon, or other vehicle, any tobaccos, cigars, cigarettes,
candy, confections, coffee, tea, and spices, or other food
products ar merchandise within the said City of Little Rock,
without first having obtained and paid for a license, the
amount of which is hereby fixed at $25.00 for each automobile,
truck, wagon, or other vehicle, per annum.
Section 2. That the said license fee shall be
payable at the time and in the manner prescribed for the
payment of other license fees to the said City of Little Rock,
and shall expire on the 31st day of December, ea.cn year.
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation
violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be
fined in any stun of not less than twenty -five dollars nor
more than fifty dollars,
Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage.
