AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE. No. 5420 KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE INSOFAR AS IT AFFECTS THE PROPERTY
DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAf!
SECTION 1. That from and after `the
)proval of this Ordinance, the West 60 feet of the East half of
ock 351 of the Original City of Little Rock, described also as.,
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Block, which is the
Southwest corner of the intersection of North Street and North Stat
Streat.in said City, run thence Test along the South property line
of North Street 150 feet for a point of beginning; thence South
parallel to the Test line of North State Street 150 feet to the
North line of Garland Street; thence Rest along the North line of
Harland Street 60 feet; thence North Parallel to the West line of
North State Street 50 feet to the South line of North Street;,/arid.I
nee nest along the South line of North Street to the point of
beginning; all located in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas shall be classified and Zoned as Apartment house district
"Ee to permit the erection and use of said property as an apartment
of Three (3) or more families, and Ordinance No. 5420,of the
Ordinances of the City of Little` Rock, is hereby amended to include
the above described property in such multiple dwelling area, and
#d property is hereby created as a multiple dwelling area.
SECTION 2, It is hereby determined and ascertained
land found by the Council as a matter of fact that Section Twenty
three (23) as, amended and the State Law as said section and the
IState Law and other parts of Ordinance No. 5420 as relating to
Irepeal and ameWment'of said Ordinance No. 5420 and all prerequisit
Ito the ameigdment of said Ordinance have been met and strictly
complied Frith.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances

in conflict herewith are hereby repealed insofar as they affect
this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. It being ascertained by the Council that

.8 necessary for the erection of an Apartment house and the
erection of an Apartment house being necessary to give equal justic
to the owner of said property, and equal justice to the Citizens
of the City of Little Rock being found necessary for the preservati n
of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
