ORDINANCE N0. 5643
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 5420 KNOWN AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE INSOFAR AS IT AFFECTS THE PROPERTY
DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BY THE CITY COUNCIL Or, THg CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
j Section 1. That from and after the passage and
approval of this ordinance, the property located at 2623 and
2624 West Seventeenth (17th) Street, more particularly
described as follows:
Lot 4, and the West 371 feet of Lot 3, Block 16;
and part of Lot 11, Block 14, East of the Railroad,
all in the Worthen and Brown Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas
now classified as light Industrial District "H" shall hereafter
be classified and zoned as Business District 9K" known as the

used according to the provisions of Ordinance No. 5420 relating
to Heavy Industrial Districts, and Ordinance No. 5420 of the
Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, is hereby amended to
include the above described property in such Industrial area,
and said property is hereby created as an Industrial *)rea.
Section 2. It is hereby determined and ascertained
and found by the Council as a matter of fact that Section
Twenty -three (23) as amended and the State Law as said Section
and the State Law and other parts of Ordinance No. 5420 as
.rsPeal and amendment of said Ordinance No. 5420
and all prerequisites to the amendment of said Ordinance have
been met and strictly complied with.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed insofar as they affect
this ordinance..
Section 4. It being ascertained by the Council that
the re- elassification of the property described in this
ordinance is necessary for the erection of Industrial buildings
and the erection of Industrial buildings being necessary to give
equal justice to the owner of said property, and equal justice
to the Citizens of the City of Little Rock being found necessary
for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an

be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
