AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE No. 5420 KNOWN AS"THB
ZONING ORDINANCE INSOFAR AS IT AFFECTS THE PROPERTY
DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS-
SECTION 1. That from and after the passage and approval
of this. Ordinance, Lot 9, Block 12, Braddocka Addition to the City
)f Little Rock, loe.ated at 1722 South Pine Street; all loosted is i
e City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas shall be classified
nd Zoned as Business District "H" to permit the erection and use of
said property as Business property , and (If- dinanee No. 5480 of the

Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, is hereby amended to include!
he above described property in such Business area, and said j
property is hereby created as a Business area.
SECTION 2. It is hereby determined and ascertained and
Mound by the Council a.s. a matter of fact that Section Twenty-three

` - Law and other parts of Ordinance No. 5420 as relating to repeal and

amendment of said Ordinance No. 5420 and all prerequisites to the
amendment of said Ordinance- have been met and strictly complied with.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, insofar, as they affect this
Ordinance.
SECTION 4. It being wwartained by the Council that the
re- classification of the property described in this Ordinance is
necessary for the erection of a Business house, and the erection of
a being necessary to give equal justice to the owner
of said property, and equal justice to the Citizens. of the City of
Little Rock being found necessary for the preservation of the public

peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and afte
