"AN ORDINANCE OUTLINING AN EXCLUSIVE PARJKING SPACE FOR THE
BUSES OF ARKANSAS MOTOR COACHES, LTD., INC., IN LOADING
AND UNLOADING ITS PASSKITGERS FROM ITS TERMINAL IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK."
Whereas, the Arkansas Motor Coaches, Ltd., Inc., has,
leased for its Little Rock terminal the south part of the building
located on Lot One (1), Block One (1), Original City of Little Rock;
located ot.the Northeast corner at the intersection of Main and
Markham Streets, and
,..� Whereas, it is necessary for said Arkansas Motor
Coaches, Ltd., Inc., to have the exclusive curb adjacent to said
building,
BE IT, THEREFORE, ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section I. That the exclusive right, except for the
passenger buses of the Capitol Transportation Company operating in
inter -city transportation, to park its buses for loading and
unloading of passengers in the City of Little Rock is hereby
granted to the Arkansas Motor Coaches, Ltd., Inc., adjacent to
and along the curb, beginning at the Northeast corner of the inter-
section of Markham and Main Streets in the City of Little Rock,
from which point running thence East Fifty (50) feet and north
Ninety -five (95) feet.
Section II. That it shall be unlawful for any other
motor cars or other vehicles; except for the passenger buses of the
Capitol Transportation Coftany operating in inter -city transporta-
tion, to park at or over said places and along said curbs at any
time whatever. That the exclusive use for parking of buses of the
i? a"as Motor. Coaches, Ltd., .-Inc., except for the passenger buses
of the Capitol Transportation Company operating in inter -city
transportation, for loading and unloading of passengers is hereby
granted to the said Arkansas Motor Coaches,, Ltd., Inc., for a period
of five (5 ) years from November 15, 1938. ,
Section III. That Ordinance No. granting to
the Arkansas Motor Coaches, Ltd., Inc., the exclus e privilege of
loading and unloading adjacent to the curb beginning on West Markham
Street Fifty (50) feet from the Northwest corner thereof, be and
the same is hereby repealed.
Section IV. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewit,4 be and the same are hereby repealed, and that
this ordinance shaXI take effect and be in force from and after its
