AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING# THE SUM OF $160.00 FROM i
THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY TO PAY THOMAS EVANS
FOR DAMAGES SUSTAINED IN AN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT; 1
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum
of One Hundred Sixty Dollars ($160.00) from the General Fund of
'the .City, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
issue the City's warrant in said amount payable to Thomas Evans,
and they shall be authorized to deliver said warrant to the said
Thomas :.Frans when he executes a release, releasing and receipting
the city-is full for any and all claims that the said Thomas Evans
might have as the result of an automobile accident in which car
driven by Thomas Evans collided with a car driven by an employee
of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS the said Thomas
immediate need of this money, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this Ordinance is found to be necessary for the
,
immediate preservation of the public
and the same shall be in full force
passage and approval.
