AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET
I10ROVE141 NT DISTRICT NO. 523 OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
1MREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of two - thirds
in assessed value of the property located within the territory
hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that an improve-
ment district be established for the purpose hereinafter set out.
T`M:REAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties
desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was
signed by two - thirds in assessed value of the owners of real
property within said territory;
NOVI, TIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property:
Lots 13 to 24, inclusive, of
Lots 1 to 12, inclusive, of
Lots 1 to 12, inclusive, of
Lots 13 to 24, inclusive, of
All in Altheimer's Addition
Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Block 1;
Block 2;
Block 7; and
Block 8;
to the City of
Arkansas;
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving,
in such a manner and with such materials as the commissioners to
be elected for the said improvement district shall deem to be for
the best interest of said district, the following part of the
following street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Garfield Street from its intersection with the
south line of Altheimer Addition to the City of
Little Rock to its intersection with the north
line of the same addition;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and
charged upon the real property above described.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement
District No. 523 _; and B. R. Burrow, C. E. Formby and C. Deckard

are hereby named commissioners, who shall compose the Board of
Improvement for said district.
Section 2. `Phis ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
