AN ORDINANCE PROHIBIMG THE
SALE OF STALE BREAD, EXCEPTING AT THE PLACE OF THE
MANUFACTURE THEREOF, PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION,
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 5669, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, j

SECTION 1. Ordinano4 no. gb69 passed 'bsseaber- l90, 19�tt;
is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful from and after this date
for any person, firm or corporation to sell or offer for sale
any bread, either manufactured from wheat, rye or other pro-
ducts, which bread has been manufactured for more than U hours,
unless same is offered for sale upon the premises where said
specific bread was baked.
SECTION 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be .guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con-
viction thereof shall be fined in any sum not less than $5.00
and not more than X50.40.
SECTION 4. All bakeries selling bread in the City of
Little Rook, Arkansas must furnish the City Health Department with
code numbers and marks on bread before same is delivered.
SECTION 5. It is hereby ascertained and declared that
this ordinance is necessary for the reservation of public
i health and safety, and an emergency exists and this ordinance
i
shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
