AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE No. 542.0 KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE, INSOFAR, AS IT AFFECTS THE PROPERTY
DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That from and after the passage and approval of
jthis- Ordinance, the property known as 616 West 4th Street, more
I completely described as: the East 46 Feet of Lot 6-, B1.oek 125,
(Original. City of Little Rock., Pulaski County, Arkansas shall be
classified and Zoned as Commercial District "Fm to permit the
erection on and the use of said property as Commercial property,
and Ordinance No. 542.0 of the Ordinances of the City of Little Roell,

is hereby amended to include the above described property in such
Commercial area and said property is hereby Zoned as a Commercial'
area..
SECTION 2. It is hereby determined and ascertained and
found by the Council as a matter of fact that Section Twenty -three
(23) as amended, the State law-, and other parts of Ordinance No.
5420 relating to repeal and amendment of said Ordinance No.. 5420
and all prerequisites for,the amendment of said Ordinance No. 5420
have been met and strictly complied with.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts-of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, insofar, as they affect thi.
Ordinance.
SECTION 4. It being ascertained by the Council that the
reclassification of the property described in this Ordinance is
necessary for the erection of a Commercial building, and the
erection of a Commercial building being necessary to give equal
j tati'de to the owner of said property, and equal- .justiae_.to the
Citizens of the City of Little Rock being found necessary for the
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
Is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
