AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE No.5525 PROVIDING
FOR INSPECTION OF AUTOMOBILES; ABOLISHING POSITIONS
IN THE AUTOMOBILE TESTING BUREAU; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

SECTION 1. That the Automobile Inspection Bureau of the
City off, Little Rock is hereby abolished, and all positions
eq.Qnested with said Bureau are abolished, and Ordinance No. 5525
which provides for the inspection of automobiles in the City of
11tt1e,_Rock is hereby repealed in its entirety.
�SRCTION 2. Whereas; the State Legislature has repealed the
St tte" Vtomobile Testing Law, and Kittle Rock residents should not
bsr iuidened with car inspections when other Citizens of the State
do: no-t have to meet said inspections, an emergency is therefore
hecreb$ declared to exist, and this Ordinance. is found to be
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health and safety, and should be in full force and effect from and
after its: passage and approval.
