AN ORDINANCE CLASSIFYING THE POSITION OF SECRETARY TO
THE CHIEF OF POLICE UNDER POLICE CIVIL SERVICE; GIVING IT
RANK OF PATROLMAN IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK KANSAS:
SECTI 1. That from and after the passage of this ordinance
the p ition of Secretary to the Chief of Police in the
Polio Department, will be classified under the Police Civil
Servis, having rank of a Patrolman, and salary shall be the
same ds any other patrolman in the police department in
accordance to number of years of service in the department.
SECTION 2. This ordinance being necessary to promote better
efficiency in the police department, same being a matter of
public welfare, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
