ORDINANCE 5701
AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT
CITY ENGINEER, AND CREATING THE POSITION OF CLERK
TO THE CITY ENGINEER FIXING THE SALARIES THEREFOR;
AND FOR OTHER PUMSES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CC UN C I L OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. There is hereby created the position of.
Assistant City Engineer who shall receive a salary of One Hundred
Forty-five Dollars ($145.00) per month, payable as other City
aalaries are paid, and there is, also, created the position of
Clerk to the City Engineer who shall receive a salary of Eighty -
eight Dollars ($88.00) per month, payable as other City salaries
are paid.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is necessary to have immediate
use of the positions herein created to handle work in the City
Engineer's Office, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and
this Ordinance is-found to be nscessary for the immediate prsser --
vation of the public peace., health and safety, and same shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
