AN ORDI 'AlICE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 5420,
POPULARLY XNO'XN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, APPROVED
15th DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1937, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
' ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That ordinance 5420, approved the 15th day of
February, 1937, popularly known as the Zoning Ordinance, be
amended as follows:
That it is proposed to erect on Lots 11 and 12 in Block 23,
Pulaski Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
an addition to the present church building thereon, which is now
being used by the congregation of the Pulaski Heights Methodist
Episcopal Church, South; that in building such addition it shall
be permissible for any new buildings or erections to be built up
to the south property line of said Lots 11 and 12 in Block 23
up to the east property line of said Lots 11 and 12 in
Block 23; that, if deemed advisable, the present building may
be extended to the north property line of said Lots 11 and 12
in Block 23 and any new part may be built to the north property
line of said Lots 11 and 12 in Block 23.
Section 2. It appearing that the congregation of the
Pulaski Heights Methodist Church is preparing to erect a commo-
dious addition to the present church building and that it is
necessary in having plans drawn that the question be settled
promptly as to just where said building may be erected on the
xq_ , lots deaoribed in Section 1 hereof, an emergency is here'h de-

clared, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
