AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE No 5420 KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCR INSOFAR, AS) IT AFFECTS THE PE.OPERTY
DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That from and after the passage and approval
of this Ordinance, Lots 1,2,3,4,5 and 6, Block 233, Original City
of Little Rock, all located in the City of Little 'Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas shall be classified and Zoned as Business Listricti
TH" to permit the erection and use of said property as Business
property, and Ordinance No. 5420 of the Ordinances of the Clity of
Little Rock, is hereb y -'amended to include the above described"
property in such Business area, and said property is hereby - create
as a Business area. '
SECTION 2. It is hereby determined and ascertained and'
found by the Council as a matter of fact that Section Traenty- three'
(23)..as amended, and the State Lw. r as said Section and. the State
Law and other parts of Ordinance No. 5420 as relating Ito repeal
1 amendment of said Ordinance No. 5420 and all prerequisites to the
amendment of said Ordinance have been met and strictly complied with.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict herenrith are hereby repealed, insofar, as they affect thi
Ordinance.
SECTION 4. It being ascertained by the Council that t
re-classification of the property described in this Ordinance is
necessary for the erection of a Business house, and the erection of
a Business house being necessary to give equal justice to the .owner
of said property, and equal justice to the Citizens of the City of
Little Rock being found necessary for the preservation of the publ e
peace, health, and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to axis
and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and aft
its passage and approval.
