AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $95.10 FROM
THE AUTOMOBILE FUND TO PAY FOR PRINTING THE AUTO -
TMOBILE LICENSE STICKERS; AND APPROPRIATING THE FURTHER
SUM OF 092.25 FROM THE AUTOMOBILE FUND TO PAY FOR
PRINTING OF RECEIPTS FOR AUTOMOBILE LICENSES; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CGU',TCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
Automobile Fund of the City of Little Mock the sum of Three
Hundred Ninety Five and 10 /100 Dollars ($395.10), and the Mayor
and City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue the City's warrant
in said amount payable to the Meyercord Company in payment for
18,000 Automobile License Stickers for the year 1939 -40.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the
Automobile Fund of the City of Little Rock the sum of Ninety -two
and 25/100 Dollars ($92.25), and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized to issue the City's warrant in said amount payab'
to the �uapaw Printing Company in payment for 18,000 Receipts for
Automobile License fees for the year 1939@40
SECTION 3. WHEREAS) it is necessary to purchase said
license Stickers and Receipts immediately, and whereas the 3oard
of Public Affairs has tepken bids on both items and has awarded the
contracts to the lowest bidders, an emergency is hereby declared ti
exist and this Ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediat(
preservation of the public peace, health, and safety, and same
full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
