AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT SMOKING ON STREET
TRANSPORTATION BUS:SES;, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE. IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
BHCTION 1. From and after the passage and approval of
this Ordinance it shall be unlawful for any person to smoke a
garefte, cigar or pipe upon any of the Street Transportation`
Busses operating in this City.
SECTION 2. Any person violating the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con-
iction thereof, shall be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00)
r more than Ten Dollars ($10.00).
SECTION 3. Since this Ordinance is necessary for the
reservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
s hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full
orce and effect from and after its passage and approval..
