0RDINAITCE # 5724.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REPAIR
PARTS FOR ONE FIRE TRUCK OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, AT AN EXPENDITURE NOT TO EXCEE
FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($400.00); AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK,. ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise for bids for the furnishing of sufficien
repair parts to be used in placing one of the Cityxs fire trucks
in serviceable condition, and the said Board is authorized to
incur an expenditure for said parts not to exceed Four Hundred
Dollars ($400.00)
SECTION 2. Whereas the Fire Department is in need of the
service of said truck, and it is necessary to have said parts
before said truck will operate, an emergency is, therefore, hereby
(declared to exist and this Ordinance is found to be necessary for
the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and same
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
