ORDINANCE NO. 5731.
AN ORDINANCE TO PERMIT J. F. MAGBEE TO ERECT A SERVICE
STATION ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF TWELFTH AND PINE
STREETS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That from and after the paggage of this ordinance
it shall be lawful for J.F. Magbee to construct,maintain and
operate a modern fireproof drive -in and out gasoline service
station for the handling of gasoline, oil, and oil products, tires, etc.
and to do any and all things incident generally to that found
in a modern gasoline service station, and to cut a sidewalk curb on e
each of the boundary streets to the entrances of said service
station, upon the followingddescribed property located in the
City of Little Rock, pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
A certain parcel of ground in the southwest (SW) corner
of 12th and Pine Streets, being the North sixty -five (65)
feet of Lot One (1), Block Three (3), W.B. Worthen's addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. For the relief of the said J.F. Magbee and for the
accomodation of the public, and the immediate effectiveness of
this ordinance being necessary for the public peace, health and sa%ety,
and of that of the said J.F. Mabbee, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, the same shall be in full force and effect
from and after the passage and approval.
