AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A TEN MINUTE PARKING
ZONE AT THE CORNER OF SECOND AND MAIN STREETS;
FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTIONI. There is hereby created a ten (10)
minute parking zone at the Southeast corner of Second and
Main Streets. Said zone shall be painted in white paint
by the City Engineer and shall be appropriately marked.
The zone shall begin on the southeast corner of Second and
Main streets and shall extend a distance of twenty (20)
feet east from the corner of Second and Kain streets. It
shall be unlawful for eny person, firm, or corporation to
park any vehicle in said zone for a period of time longer
than ten (10) minutes, and any person violating this ordi-
nance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction in the Little Rock Municipal Court, shall be
fined in any sum not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor more
than Five Dollars ($5.00) .
SECTION 2. WHEREAS; the creating of such a
parking zone will aid in the handling of traffic, an emer-
gency is hereby found to exist and this ordinance is found
to be necessary for the public peace, health, and safety,
and the same shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
