AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5714 OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 5714 of the City of Littler Rook,
passed and approved on the 27th day of March, 1939, provided for

Little Rook; and
WHEREAS, it is now deemed to the best interests of the
district to collect the assessment of benefits in five annual
installments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council,of
the City,of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. Thet Section 1 of Ordinance No. 5714 of the
City of Little Rock, passed and approved on March 27, 1939, be
and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the sold several lots, blocks and
parcels of real property in said Street Improvement District No.
523 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be assessed according
to the assessment list f-or said improvement district as the same
now remains in the office of the City Clerk, and that twenty per
centum (20 %) of the assessment of benefits on each of said lots,
blooks and parcels of real property shall be paid annually on or
before the lst day of October of each year, beginning with October
11 1939, until the whole of said local assessment of benefits shall
. be paid."

conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shell be
in Lull force and effect from and after its passage.
