�N ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS ON THE
RENTAL OF NOT TO EXCEED TWELVE (12) TRUCKS AND
FIVE (5) PASSENGER CARS AND CONTRACT FPR THE REN-
TAL OF SAME FROM THE LOWEST AND MOST RBSPONSIBLB
BIDDER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized to advertise for and receive bids for the ren-
tal of not to exceed Twelve (12) trucks and Five (5) pas-
senger cars for use in the various City departments.
The Board of Public Affairs is further authorized to con-
tract for the rental of said equipment or so much thereof
as may be necessary from the lowest and most responsible
bidder.
6ECTION 2; WHEREAS; said equipment is needed imme-
diately in order to properly serve the people of Little
Rock, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
Ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate pre-
servation of the Public peace, health, and safety, and
the same shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
