AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS ON
THE RENTAL OF SIX (6) TRUCKS FOR THE GARBAGE
DEPARTMENT;: AUTHORIZING THE BOARD TO ENTER
INTO SAID RENTAL AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE B
BOARD TO ADVERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS ON THE
NECESSARY EQUIPMENT FOR THE CUTTING OF THE HAY
ON THE LITTLE ROCK AIRPORT; AUTHORIZING THE
BOARD TO MAKE SUCH PURCHASES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, AEKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Board of 2ublic Affairs is hereby author-
ized to advertise for and receive bids for the following:
1. Rental of Six (6) Trucks suitable for
use in the Garbage Department of the
City of Little Rock.
2.
One
(1)
Tractor.
3.
One
(1)
Mower.
4.
One
(1)
Baler.
5.
One
(1)
Rake.
The Board oflublic Af£ai rs is further authorized to contract
for the rental of, or purchase, of said equipment or so much
thereof as may be necessary from the lowest and most responsible
bidder.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS; said equipment is needed immediately
in order to properly serve the people of Little Rock, an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance is found
to be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health, and safety, and the same shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
