AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF TELEPHONE

PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. There is hereby created the position of
operator for the City Hall Public Branch Exchange Board.
Said operator shall work under the direction of the ayor of
the City of Little ock and for such services shall receive
the sum of - seventy -five Dollars (;75.00) per month, payable
monthly as other salaries are paid.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS; a ublic Branch exchange Board
has been established in the City Hall in order to aid in
facilitating telephone services and to effect economies in
the �ityls telephone bills, an emer ency is hereby declared
to exist and this Ordinance is round to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safe-
ty, and the same shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
