AN ORDINANCE AMMMING ORDINANCE #5552; PROVIDING
FOR CERTAIN XXM ORES FROM THE GENERAL FUND
OF THE CITY 019 AUTHORITY OF THE CITY COLLECTOR
AND THE MAYOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C ITY 0 OUNC IL OF THE C ITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SACTIONl. Ordinance #5552 of the Ordinances of the
City of Little Rock is hereby amended to read as follows:
"The City Collector with the approval of the Mayor is
hereby authorized to expend out of the general revenue fund of
the City, Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,,000.00), or as much
thereof as is necessary each month for the payment of the
weekly payroml, freight and express charges, special police
expenses, stamps, C.O.D., items, and any charges to the City
Hospital, not to exceed the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) in
any one month; any charges for the Muni6ipal Golf Course, not
to exceed the sum of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per month, and
any charges for the City Attorney's Office, such as the re-
gularly authorized office expense account and Court cost; and
to pay any monthly rental expense on equipment rented by the
C ity."
SECTION 2. TUIEREAS; this Ordinance will effect a
saving for the General fund and since the General Fund of the
City is depleted, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this OrdU=oe is found to be necessary for the immediate pre-
servation of the public peace, health, and safety, and the same
shall be in full force and offset from and after its passage
and approval.
