BE IT ORDAINIM BY ME CITY COUNCIL OF 7's CITY OF LI`T'TLE ROCK, ARK.
` Section 1. From and after the passage and approval of this
ordinance Section 2104 of Brickhouse and Castle Digest is hereby
amended as follows:
Section 2. Vehicle entering Through Eighway or Stop Tntersection.
(a) The driver of a vehicle shall stop as required by this ordinance
at the entrance to a through highway or boulevard and shall yield
the right of way to other vehicles which have entered the inter-
section from said through highway or boulevard, or -�vhich are
approaching so closely on said through hi ghway or boulevard as to
constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver having so yielded,
may proceed, and the drivers of all other vehicles approaching the
intersection on said through Highway or boulevard, shall yield
the right of way to the vehicle so proceeding into or across the
through highway or boulevard.
(b) The driver of a vehicle shall likewise stop in
obedience to a stop sign or button as required herein at an
intersection where a stop sign or button is erected at one or
more entrances thereto, although not a part of a through highway, or
boulevard, and shall proceed cautiously yielding to vehicles not
so obliged to stop which are within the intersection or approaching
so closely as to constitute an immediate hazard, but may then proceed.
Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency measure, the necessity therefore being; the ifynediate
preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of
the City of Little Rock, and shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval by the Tayor.
