AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO RECEIVE BIDS FOR AND TO PURCHASE FROM THE
LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER THE GASOLINE, OIL, LUB &ICANTS
AND TIRES NECESSARY FOR THE CITYIS REQUIREMENTS TO
DECEMBER 31, 1939; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF' LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs
are hereby authorized and directed to advertise for and to
receive bids for the necessary amotint of gasoline, oil,
llblicants and tires for the City needs up to gnd including.,
December 31, 1939, and to make said purchase from the lowest
and most responsible PBMBP bidder.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, It is necessary for the City
to have such supplkes immediately in order to keep the equipment
of the City in 6peration an emergency is found to exist and this
ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate pr6servation
of the public peace, health and safety and the dame shall be in
full force and operation from and after its passage and approval.
