AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZMrG AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS FOR AND TO
PURCHASE ONE AUTOMOBILE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTI=T OF-THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, WHICH AUTOMOBILE JOB IS SUITABLE FOR USE BY THE
AUTOMOBILE THEE ..BUREAU; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
EdMANSAS
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the Board of Public Affairs are
hereby authorized and directed to advertise for and receive bids
for and to purchase one automobile for the Police Department of
the City of Little Rock, said automobile to be suitable for use
by the Auto Theft Bureau.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS; the Automobile Theft Bureau is nee-
essary to protect the automobile owners of the City of Little
Rock and said Bureau is in immediate need of an automobile and
and emergency is hereby declared to exist and this automobile
is found to be necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, health and safety and the same shall be in full
force':and :effect from and after its passage and approval.
