ORDINANCE N0. 5845.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF SEMI- ANNUAL INTEREST
ON CITY OF LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM BONDS; LIBRARY
ANNEX BONDS; AND NEGRO RECREATION PARK BONDS, ISSUES OF FEBRUARY
1ST, 1937; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the
Municipal Auditorium Bond Fund the sum of Nine Thousand Three
Hundred and Eighty -three Dollars and 40 /100 ($9,383.40) Dollars
for the following indebtedness of the City of Little Rock due
and payable at the office of the Chase National Bank of New
York City on February 1st, 1940:
Semi - annual interest at 4% per annum
on $468,000.00 outstanding bonds,
Nos. ' 1 to 465, inclusive Coupons No. 6)...$9,360.00
Commission for paying coupons due February
1, 1940 detached from Municipal Auditorium

SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated out of the
Library Annex Bond Fund the sum of Five Hundred and Two and
50 /100 ($502.50) Dollars for the following indebtedness of the
City of Little Rock due and payable at the office of the Chase
National Bank of New York City on February 1st, 1940:
Semi - annual interest at 4% per annum
on $25,000.00 outstandin bonds
Nos. 1 to 29, inclusive Coupon No. 6) ..... 500.00
Fee for paying face value of coupons due
February 1, 1940, detached from Library

SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated out of the
Negro Park Bond Fund the sum of Three Hundred and Two and
50 /100 0302.50) Dollars for the following indebtedness of the
City of Little Rock due and payable at the office of the Chase
National Bank of New York City on February 1st, 1940:
Semi - annual interest at 4% per annum on
$15,000.00 outstanding bonds Nos. 1 to
15, inclusive ( Coupons No. 61............... $ 300.00
Fee for paying face value of coupons
due February 1, 1940, detached from

SECTION 4. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Little Rock are hereby authorized to issue the City's warrants
for the amounts and on the funds of the City herein recited;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to make such arrange-
ments as are necessary for the transmittal of these funds to
the Chase National Bank of New York City to meet the due date
of February 1st, 1940 of said semi- annual interest and paying
agents fees.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
