SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS, AND PARCELS OF LAND
WITHIN STREET IWROVFAFM D1&.Pki :C`T' No. -529,
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
YvHE.hEAS, more than two- thirds in value of the
property holders owning property adjoining the locality
to be affected and situated in Street Improvement
District No. 529, in the city of Little Rock, Arkansas,
organized for the purpose of grading, paving, and
otherwise improving South Valentine Street from the
South boundary line of 20th Street to the North line
of 24th Street have petitioned the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of
a�ridprovements and that the cost thereof shall be
absessed,upon the real property in said district accord-
ing to the benefits received; and
whEREAS, said benefits received by each and
every block, lot, and parcel of real property, railroad
and railroad right -of -way situated in saiddistrict equals
or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
VVEEREAS, the estimated cost of said improve-
went is $4,922.61, exclusive of interest, and the assessed
benefits amount to $9,600.00; NOW, THEREFOIiE, IT 16

ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots, and
parcels of real property, railroads, and railroad right-
of-ways in said Street Improvement District No. 529 of
the City of Little 1tock, Arkansas, be and they are hereby
assessed according to the assessment list as the same now
remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; and as the same may be-annually

readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that 7 *% of said
assessment of the value of benefits to. each of said blocks,
lots and parcels of land, railroad, and railroad right -of-
way shall be paid on or before the 1st day of March, 1940,
in each of the years 1940 to.1953, inclusive, until the
