AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD,OF PUBLIC AF-
FAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS FOR AND
TO PURCHASB THEBE.(3) ONE AND ONE -HALF (1j) TON

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE C ITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1: The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized to advertise f or and receive bids for and to purchase
Three (3) One and one -half (1j) ton dump trucks fur use by the
City of Little Rock at a cost of approximately One Thousand Dol-
lars.( #1,000.00) per truck.
Upon the purchase of said trucks by the Board of Public
Affairs., the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized.to issue
its CI y. s warrant or warrants; drawn a ='
fund of the City of Little Rock to cover the purchase of same.
SECTION 2: WHEREAS; these trucks are immediately needed
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance is
found to be necessary for the immediate preservation of the publli
peace, health, and safety, and the same shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
