AN O? DINANCE AUTHORIZING THE. CONSTRUCTION OF A GARAGE
SUBJECT TO 'rHE SPECIFICATIONS OF WHICH SHALL BE SUBJECT
TO THE AptF'OVAL OF THE CITY ENGINEER; SAID GARAGE TO BE
LOCATED ON PROPERTY OWNED BY MIS6 EMMA REIMAN AT 2117
NORTH VAN BUREN DESCRIBED AS A PORTION OF LOT 7, BLOCK.

WHEREAS; Several years ago Lot 7, Block 16 of Newton Addi-
tion to the City of Little Rock was dividea in such a way that in
view of the location of the house and improvements on said property
it is impossible to erect a suitable garage without erecting said
garage within Five (5) feet of the property line of the adjoining
property; and
WHEREAS; this is an injustice that should be corrected.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1: That the Building Code and the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Little Bock is hereby amended insofar as it affects{
this particular property so that the o ner` thereof, Miss Emma Rei-
man, may have the privilege of constructing a garage within Five
(5) feet of the adjoining property line. ;'hen said owner has pre-
sented plans satisfactory to the City Engineer the said City Engi-
neer shall grant a permit for the erection of said garage upon the
payment of the proper fee.
SECTION 2: WHEREAS the said property is without a garage
land the tenants thereof are in immediate need of a garage, an ewer.
