SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authb-
rized to advertise for, receive bids on, and purchase the follow-
ing equipment for the City of Little Rock:

�{ SECTION 2. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby autho-
rized to advertise for and to receive bids on the sale of certain
scrap iron and steel.
SECTION 3. MEREAS; said equipment is needed immediately
to properly serve the people of the City of Little Rock, an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is found to
be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health, and safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
