AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF ?UBLIC AFFAIRS TO TAKE
BIDS FOR THE SUPPLYING OF OILS AND LUBRICANTS FOR THE AUTO-&
MOTIVE EQUIPMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
µ. ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the Board ,of Public Affairs
are hereby authorized and directed to advertise for and receive
bids for the supplying of the oils and lubricants needed in the
operation of the automotive equipment of the City of Little
Rock for the three months period beginning May 1, 1940, and
ending July 31, 1940.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, the present contract for furnish-
ing oils and lubricants expired immediately, and it is necessary
to make a new contract, am emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health, and safety, and the
same shall be in full force aid effect from and after its pas-
sage and approval.
