AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS ONE AND TWO OF
ORDINANCE N0. 5872, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,

SECTION 1. Section One of Ordinance No. 5872 of the
ordinances of the City of Little Rock is hereby amended to read
as follows: "The office of Inspector of Weights and Measures
Department of the City Collector's Office is hereby changed to
the office of Inspector of Weights and Measures and Field Deputy
in the City Collector's office."
SECTION 2. Section Two of Ordinance No. 5872 of the
ordinances of the City of Little Rock is hereby amended to read
as follows: "The salary of each of the two Field Deputies in
the City Collector's office is hereby fixed at One Hundred Forty -
2; Five and no /100 ($145.00) Dollars per month. The salary 'of the
Inspector of Weights and Measures and Field Deputy in the City
Collector's office is hereby fixed at One Hundred Forty -Five and
No /100 ($145.00) Dollars per month. The salary of the stenographer
in the City Collector's office is hereby fixed at Eighty -Five and
no /100 ($85.00) Dollars per month."
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
