AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TIME OF PAYIVIENT OF THE
MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE TAX FOR THE YEAR 1940 ONLY
BE IT ORDAINED BY TH`. CITY COUNCIL OF TH?, CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The time for paying the motor vehicle license
tax #or the year 1940 is hereby extended to
May 20th, 1940.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. The motor vehicle license tax for the
year 1941 and future years shall be due
and payable as provided in Section 4, Ordinance
2939 as amended.heretofore.
Section 4. ",'hereas confusion exists concerning the time
for payment of said tax and many citizens have
yet to pay the tax, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect immediately
on its passage.
