AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.534 _ OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCKp__0KANSAS
WHEREAS.. parties claiming to be the owners of more
than two - thirds in assessed value of the property located
within the territory hereinafter described have filed a pe-
tition praying that an improvement district be established
for the purpose hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard
all parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that
said petition was signed by more than two- thirds in assess-
ed value of the owners of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following described property:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9,10,11, and 12 of Block 6
Lots 1, 2, 3,10,11, and 12 of Block 8
All of Blocks 7 and 12
Lots 1 to 6 inclusive of Block 14
Lots 14,15, and 16 of Block 13
All in Sidney J. Johnson Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas
Lots 4 to 12 inclusive, of Block 2
Lots 1 to 9 inclusive, of Block 3
Lots 1 to 6 inclusive of Block 4
All in May Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas.
Lots 7 to 12 inclusive, of Block 5
Lots 1, 2, 3,10,11, and 12 of Block 12
All in W.B.Worthea Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and
paving, in such a manner and with such materials as the com-
missioners to be elected for the said improvement district
shall deem to be for the best interest of said district, the
following paritof the following streets in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lewis Street from its intersection with the North
line, extended east, of Block 14 of Sidney J. John-
son Addition to the South Property line of West
13th Street.
Abigail Street from the South property line of West
15th Street to the North property line of Rest 14th
Street.
Part of Elm Street beginning at the North property
line of West 14th Street and running thence North
for 66 feet along Slu Street.
Hest 16th Street from the West property line of Lewis
Street to the East property line of Abigail Street.
West 15th Street from the West property line of Lewis
Street to the East property line of Abigail Street.
West 14th Street from the best property line of Cedar
Street to the East property line of Abigail Street.
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and
charged upon the real property above described, provided the
liability of each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its
assessed benefits.

compose the Board of improvement for said district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
