AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS AND EMPLOY AN ARCHITECT OR ARCHITECTS
TO DRAW PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND SUPERVISE CONSTRUC-
TION OF A FIRE STATION AT TWELFTH AND VALENTINE STREETS
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND TO REMODEL THE FIRST FLOOR
OF CENTRAL. FIRE
STATION IN A USED BY THE FTIM DEPART
MENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTIDN 1. The Board of Public Affairs
is hereby authorized to advertise for bids and to hold
some appropriate examination based thereon to employ an
architect or architects; said architect or architects
shall prepare plans and specifications for and supervise
the construction of the following:
a. T fire station to be located at Twelfth and
Valentine Streets in the City of Little Rock.
b. The remodelling of the first floor of the drill
tower now located in the rear of Central Fire
Station into a repair shop to be used by the
Fire Department.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
