ORDINANCE No. 5935
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 536 OF THE CITY OF
Little Roc ,Ar ansas
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of
more than two- thirds in assessed value of the property
located within the territory hereinafter described have
filed a petition praying that an improvement district be
established for the purpose hereinafter set out; and,
WE EAS, after due notice as required by law, the
City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has
heard all the parties desiring to be heard, and has as-
certained that said petition was signed by more than
two*thirds in assessed value of the owners of real property
within said territory;
NOM, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section 1. There is hereby established an improve-
ment district embracing the following property;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Blocks 4 and 13;
Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Blocks 3 and 14;
All in Mountain Park Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas,
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering,
and paving, in such a manner and with such materials as
the commissioners to be elected for the said improvement
district shall deem to be for the best interest of said
district, the following part of the following street in
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, towits
Polk Street from the South property line of
Kavanaugh Boulevard to the North property
line of Arkansas State Highway No. 10,
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received
from any agency of the federal or city government, be

assessed and charged upon the real property above described,

Said District shall be known as Street Improvement
District No. 536; and W. G. Angus, Russell E. Albright, and
Ida B. Burrow are hereby named commissioners, who shall
compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and
