AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF
THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY EACH
OF THE LOTS IN STREET IMPROVEMIENT
DISTRICT NO. 535 OF THE JITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a majority of more than two - thirds in value
of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality
to be affected and situated in Street Improvement District tio.
535 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the pur-
pose of improving certain streets as therein set out have pet# -
tioned the Council of the City of Little Rock for the construction
of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed
upon the real property of said district accords -g to the benefits
received; and,
WHEREAS, said benefits to be received by each and every
lot of real property situated in said district equals or exceeds
the local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$1,763.00.
THER= ;,FORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINFD BY TIi^ CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The said several lots of real property in
said district be assessed according to the assessment list for
said improvement district as the same now remains in the office
of the City Clerk, and that twenty percent (20%) of the assess-
ment on each of said lots shall be paid annually on or before
day of f each year, beginning with
1940, until the whole of said local assessment of benefits
shall be paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and the ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
