AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR AND MAKE PURCHASES OF GASOLINE,
OIL AND OTHER LUBRICANTS FOR USE IN CITY VEHICLES AND
OTHER MACHINERY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK,

Section 1. The Board of Public
Affairs is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for
and to make purchases of the following supplies to be
used by vehicles and equipment owned by the City of
Little Rock -for the quarter beginning August 1, 1940:
(a) Approximately 50,000 gallons of
gasoline
(b) Approximately $p500.00 worth of
oils and lubricants.
Section 2• This ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage,,
and approval.
