AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 542 OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS
parties claiming to be the owners of more than
tw® "thirds in assessed value of the property-located-within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purpose here-
inafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all par-
ties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition
was signed by more than two- thirds in assessed value of the owners
of real property within said territory;
NOW, THMEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the

Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following described property;
Lots 2 to 7, inclusive, of Block 1
Lots 1 to 12, inclusive, of Block-2
Lots 1, 2, 3,10,11, and 12 of Block 3
All in Ferndale addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Lots 34935, and 36 of Block 1
Lots 1, 2, 3, 34, 35, and 36 of Block 7
All in Young's Park Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.

missioners to be elected for the said improvement district shall

le—be for the beat interest of said district, the following
part of the following street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
to -wit;
Wiest Capitol Avenue, sometimes known as,.West 5th
Street, from its intersection with a line, extend-
ed south, from the Southwest corner of Lot 36 of
Block 7 in Youngs s Park Addition to its intersection
with the East property line of Coates Street, ex-
tended North,

Jones and Coates Streets, respectively, from the
South property line of West Capitol Avenue, some-
times known as West 5th Street, to the North pro-
perty line of best 6th Street,
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and
charged. upon the real property above described, provided the

"l abilit-* of each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its
assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District

shall compose the Board of Improvement for said District.
Section 2, This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
