AN ORDINANCE COMPELLING THE PLACING OF A PROPER ADDRESS AND/OR
FIRM NAME AT THE REAR ENTRANCE OF ALL PLACES OF BUSINESS IN THE
FIRE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF,LITTLE -ROCK, FIXING THE RESPONSIBIL-
ITY FOR THE COMPLIANCE WITif THE ORDINANCE, MAKING THE FAIDURE
TO COMPLY A MISDEMEANOR AND ASSESSING A PENALTY UPON CONVICTION,
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.'

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. All places of business within the fire
limits of the City of Little Rock are hereby required to indi-
cate by a sign, a painting, or some appropriate manner that is
clearly and conspicuously displayed at the rear entrance of
such place of business, the name of the firm doing business
therein and /or the proper street address of the firm.
Section 2. Responsibility is hereby placed upon the
owner, manager, proprietor or presiding officer, as the case
may be, of each and every business house within the fire lim-
its of the city to comply with the terms of this ordinance.
Section 3. The failure so to comply with this ordi-
nance is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor and upon convic-
tion thereof, any person so found guilty of violating the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be fined in any sum not less
than Two Dollars ($2.00) nor more than Ten•Dollars ($10.00).
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
