5971ORDINANCE NO. 971 AN 'ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 3, 4, 8 and 11 OF ORDINANCE NO. 5136,,t, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 5136 is hereby amended to read as follows: It shall be unlawful for any person or per- sons to take charge and control or assist in the operation thereof of any . i engine., steam boiler, any other apparatus for geng ing steam and any refrigerating na.chine or machinery, except in private dwelling houses without having a license to do so. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, partnership or association, company or corporation, knowingly to employ or keep in their employ for the purpose of tek.ing charge and control or to assist in the operation thereof of any stationary steam engine, steam boiler, or any other Apparatus for generating steam and any refrigerating machine or nachinery,except in private dwelling houses as aforesaid any stationary engineer' or other person' who has not been licensed by the Examining Board of Engineers of the City of Little Rock, Ark- ansas. SECTION 2. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 5136 is hereby amended to read as'follows: Every such applicant who shall present him- self for examination before the Board of Examining Engineers shall pay ec fee bfz-Four Dollars ($4.00) to the City Collector. Three Dollars ($3.00) shall go to the City General Revenue Fund and One Lollar ($1.00) shall be paid to the chairman of the Engineers Board by the City Clerk the first of each month from each applicant. This to be used to defray expenses of the Board. SECTION 3* amended to read as follows:, Section 8 of Ordinance- No. 5136 is he"aby Any person who has been granted a license j b the Board of Engineers may have the same renewed at the beginning of 1 Y g Y each calendar year by paying a fee of Two Dollars ($2.00) to the City Collector. One Dollar and Fifty Cents ($1.50) to go to the City General Revenue Fund, and Fifty Cents ($.50) to be paid to the chairman of the * +a r ? w2m Board of Engineers by the Cit;T Clerk from each renewal on the first of each month. This to be used by the Board to defray expenses. SECTIOA? 4.
