AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH
OF THE SEVERAL LOTS`, BLOCKS AND PAR -
CELS OF LAND 11ITHIN ANNEX NO. 1 TO
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 534
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.

owning property adjoining the locality to be effected and sit-
uated in Annex No. 1 to Street Improvement District No. 534
Of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the pur-
pose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and paving Elsa
Street and West 15th Street as therein set out have petitioned
the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the
construction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof
shall be assessed upon the real property of said district ac-
cording to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot,
block, and parcel of real property situated in said district
equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$2,143.85
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rook, Arkansas:
Section 1. That said several lots, blocks, and parcels
of real property in said Annex No. 1 to Street Improvement Dis-
trict No, 534 of the City of Little Bock, Arkansas, be assessed
according to the assessment list for said improvement district
as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk, and
that ten per centum (10 %) of the assessment of benefits on each
of said lots,blooks, and parcels of real estate shall be paid
annually on or before the Vday of_, of each
year, beginning with / , 1940, until the whole
of the said local assessment of benefits shall be paid.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict hgrein are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
